House of Aadhya began in 2015, when frustration sparked a vision.
It all started with a simple question: why is shopping for Indian fashion in Australia so difficult?
After too many experiences with overpriced and outdated outfits - and items that looked nothing like the photos (if they even arrived at all) - we realised how unreliable and limited the options were. There was a huge gap between the variety, quality, value and service we’d experienced in India and what was available to us in Australia.
So we decided to change that.
We believed shopping for Indian clothing in Australia could be easier, more reliable, and a whole lot more joyful. So we set out to build what we couldn’t find ourselves - and with family and professional backgrounds in business, retail, marketing and management, we had the experience to turn that vision into reality.
What started as a personal mission is now a popular name in Indian fashion in Brisbane and beyond.
From Humble Beginnings
House of Aadhya started with jewellery – packed before work, posted on lunch breaks, and sold at cultural events. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, but one question kept coming up: “Do you sell clothing too?” Soon, we were getting requests for specific styles from all across India – Punjabi suits, ghagra cholis, Banarasi sarees, South Indian jewellery and more.
Our collection has grown directly in response to what our customers asked for. What began with bangles and bindis has become a carefully curated, pan-Indian range of clothing and accessories designed to reflect the diversity of Indian fashion – all under one roof. From one-minute sarees to Indowestern styles and crop top lehengas, we're always listening - if there's a gap in the market, we’ll go the extra mile to bring it to you.
At House of Aadhya, everyone is welcome. Our range is shaped by customer demand and reflects the diversity of South Asian culture. From timeless classics to trending styles, we curate collections that showcase the richness of Indian ethnicwear in Australia.
We sell exclusively through exciting Indian clothing pop-up events in Brisbane and around Australia - because nothing beats the joy of seeing, touching, and trying on your outfit in person.
Think of us as a travelling Indian fashion department store. With thousands of items at every event, we offer a massive range of:
Suits, sarees, kurtis, lehengas, gowns, anarkalis, Indowestern outfits, fusion wear, salwar kameez, stitched blouses, dupattas, menswear, kidswear, Indian jewellery, and accessories.
We stay ahead of the curve with the latest Indian fashion trends - from new suit styles and saree designs, to viral Insta jewellery pieces and trending lehenga cuts.
Fashion is more than what you wear – it’s how you connect to your culture, express your identity, and show up for life’s biggest moments. At House of Aadhya, we’re proud to help people feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their heritage.
And for those without a South Asian background, we understand that wearing ethnic clothing can be a meaningful way to honour loved ones, participate respectfully in cultural traditions, or simply celebrate the beauty and artistry of Indian fashion.
Whether it’s a wedding, festival, or your very first outfit, we love being part of the journey – and part of the joy.
Your time is valuable, so we've made it easier to put together your perfect ethnic look in one visit.
No online guesswork. No confusing pre-orders or long Facebook live sales. No appointments or bouncing from suburb to suburb.

Pro tip: Arrive early for the best selection!
Since our beginnings, we’ve never forgotten our roots. We’ve proudly supported numerous charities and South Asian community organisations in Brisbane and the world through donations and sponsorships.
Our pop-up events also provide local employment opportunities for our Brisbane-based staff.
House of Aadhya wouldn’t be what it is today without the incredible support, encouragement, and honest feedback from our community. From the early days of setting up a single table at local Indian events to running full-scale pop-up shops with thousands of pieces in stock - every step forward has been shaped by the people who shop with us, recommend us, and keep coming back.
We’re deeply grateful for your trust, your ideas, and your enthusiasm. Whether it’s asking for a specific item, suggesting a new style, sharing your photos or simply cheering us on - your input has helped us grow into a business that reflects the real needs of our Brisbane South Asian community.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re proud to serve you, and we’re excited to keep evolving with you.
Come see why thousands of customers across Brisbane and beyond have chosen House of Aadhya for Indian fashion, jewellery, and accessories that deliver on style, value, and authenticity.
